A central vacuum system is an alternative to what you think when you hear the word vacuum. Most
people think of the portable vacuum that you buy in the your local store. The central
vacuum is installed in your home as a permanent fixture, similar to a
water heater. It consists of the unit, usually located in the garage, and
piping throughout the house that transports the dirt outside of your living
area. It uses a long hose that is connected to "drops" at the walls to collect
the dirt from the floors. The "drops" are installed at strategic areas
within the home. Each home differs, and the amount of "drops" varies on
how the house is laid out. With our professional installation you can be
assured that you will be able to reach every inch of your home.
Can a system be installed in my home?
Almost all homes can have systems installed before or after
they are built. In just a few cases have we not been able to
install a system or need to do minor sheetrock repairs. We will
meet with you to determine what can be done for you.
